Family Commitment Plan

Sacred Heart School is committed to creating a friendly, nurturing environment for each student entrusted to our care. But since tuition payments alone are not enough to keep our school running strong, we rely on volunteerism and fundraisers.

Under our Family Commitment Plan, we require each Sacred Heart family to contribute 28 hours of service to the school, including 3 hours to the annual Benefit Auction (formerly called “More Than an Auction”). This important plan helps to support SHS in many areas, such as educational programs, tuition assistance, computer and technology updates, required professional development for teachers, building maintenance, and more.

We encourage parents, grandparents, older siblings, and students themselves to participate. Your involvement will help to ensure the continued success of our school, reinforce your child’s appreciation of the good in helping others, and give your families a meaningful opportunity to interact with other Sacred Heart families.

The links below represent some ways to fulfill your service hours. Other examples include serving on the Sacred Heart School Board, participating in Mission Awareness, helping with extracurricular functions.
